I didn't grow up dreaming of becoming a photographer.
I became an observer first.
Photography came later.
I first came to Portugal when I was two years old and spent many summers here with family. I now live in the Algarve.
While working at a daycare in the Netherlands, I started taking photographs so parents could see small moments from their children's day. Their reactions made me realise that the way I see everyday moments is not the same for everyone.
That's when I bought my first camera.
I work quietly and don't interfere much with what is already happening.
If you feel at ease in front of my lens, I simply observe.

We had such a beautiful pregnancy photoshoot on the beach today with Esther. She made us feel completely comfortable and captured the most special moments so naturally.
